Muddy Brook Fire Department

On Sunday, April 17, 2022, Muddy Brook Fire Department, along with automatic aid from Bungay Fire Brigade and Woodstock Volunteer Fire Association, responded to a reported rollover with entrapment on English Neighborhood Road at the intersection with Cherry Tree Corner Road. Recue 475, Muddy Brook Fire Departments Heavy Rescue, was first on scene and reported a small SUV on its drivers side with two occupants still in the vehicle. The occupants were alert and oriented, but unable to safely extricate themselves from the vehicle. Muddy Brook firefighters deployed a single Paratech strut to stabilize the vehicle along with cribbing. Units then removed the windshield, allowing the occupants to safely exit the vehicle. Both patients were evaluated by Woodstock Emergency Medical Services and refused transport to the hospital.
