Mine Shoring
Paratech struts are extremely quick and simple setup, with exceptional strength, and completely non-sparking. For standard shoring in mine environments, their simplicity and tool-less setup makes the job easier and quicker. In a rescue scenario, those same qualities are why Paratech’s shoring has been the go-to choice for rescuers for almost three decades.
Railroad Car Re-Railing
In certain scenarios, air lifting bags can be used to assist in re-railing operations. Where trains cars and locomotives have strong lifting points close to ground level, air lifting bags can be used to raise and shift cars back onto the tracks, or lift the car high enough to place re-railing equipment under the train car. Air lifting bags can also be used in close quarters to shift train cars to create enough space to use other equipment. Air lifting bags are a useful addition to re-railing packages.
Rail Maintenance
Air lifting bags are an especially good way to simplify your rail maintenance tasks. Lightweight and designed to be used in the field, air lifting bags make rail maintenance much easier. A small air lifting bag and a lightweight foot pump can lift an entire section of rail, allowing access to the ballast and ties underneath.
Engine Maintenance and Repair
In small confined spaces, with irregular surfaces, air lifting bags are the force applicators you need. In large engine maintenance, often large, irregularly shaped, heavy internal parts have to be shifted small distances. Air lifting bags are a great tool for replacing bearing caps or aiding in the placement of the transmission. Air lifting bags won’t damage your engine’s internals and can make those difficult jobs a breeze.
Industrial Machinery Lifting
Air lifting bags can be used for lifting heavy machinery off the shop floor to position forklifts, air casters, or other types of heavy machinery movement equipment. Air bags have a smaller insertion height than pancake jacks, run off of shop air, and importantly do not point load your expensive machinery, protecting your investment from damage. When lowering the machinery, air lifting bag deflation can be precisely controlled, giving you precision and confidence in moving your equipment.
