City of Conover Fire Department

The Morning of, November 16th, at 12:03AM, Conover Fire Department was dispatched to a Motor Vehicle Accident with possible Pin-In in the 4200-Block of County Home Road NW. Engine 3, Rescue 1, and Car 1 responded.

Conover Fire arrived to find a Single-Vehicle accident with heavy damage, overturned, with one confirmed pinned-in. Conover Fire Stabilized the vehicle using Highway Vehicle Stabilization Kit. The vehicle was found to have struck 3 trees. Conover Fire quickly stabilized the vehicle and extricated the driver by cutting the seat of the vehicle and cutting the steering wheel. 8 Firefighters extricated the passenger in 15 minutes.

The patient was transported by Catawba County EMS with Non-Life Threatening Injuries.
