East Pierce Fire and Rescue

East Pierce Fire and Rescue units were dispatched to a reported MVA involving a dump truck vs commercial building. Upon arrival, units reported that a dump truck had struck a two story commercial building causing significant structural damage and that the driver was trapped inside the cab of the truck. Battalion 111 upgraded the response to include additional units which included technical rescue members and apparatus. Engine 112, and Medic 113 arrived and utilized Paratech struts to support the damaged building creating a safe work area for rescuers working to free the injured truck driver.
