North America Fire Equipment Company, Inc. (NAFECO) was established in 1968 by its founder, Jerrell Oaks. It began primarily as a service business to local factories and businesses doing fire extinguisher service. Over the years, NAFECO has developed into a full line distributor of fire, law enforcement, EMS and industrial safety apparel and equipment as well as Fire Apparatus, Ambulances, and ATV/UTV-mounted SKID units. NAFECO is headquartered in Decatur, Alabama with four branch offices located in the southeastern United States. We inventory many of our products in the Decatur, AL warehouse for immediate shipment. We take great pride in our customer service, realizing that customers today expect a high level of service to take care of their needs. We have an inside sales staff who work diligently to answer questions and process orders on a daily basis. We place great value on EXCELLENCE in all that we do. NAFECO has an outstanding relationship with Paratech and is the dealer for Alabama, Tenneessee and Mississippi. In 2020 NAFECO established a rescue tool specialist position within the company. The rescue tool specialist duties include demonstrations and training throughout the territory. What makes Paratech unique is not only the vast amount of products they offer, which encompasses shoring, lifting and stabilization but also the ability to use many of the different products in numerous deployment applications. Paratech is the “go to” for heavy lifts and shoring!
