We were alerted at 5:11 p.m. to a traffic accident on the BAB3 in the direction of Passau. Our keyword was “VU, truck/bus – without trapped persons”. On the way we were informed by the ILS (Integrated Control Center) that a car had hit a truck. Fortunately, when they arrived at the scene, the information was confirmed that the person was not trapped. We therefore took care of using heavy equipment, which is specially designed for this type of operation, to separate the two vehicles that were wedged together. After the motorway was completely closed and the two vehicles moved to the hard shoulder, the lane was released again and we were able to move in.
