Shoring Components
Paratech produces several different bases and heads for use on our struts in structural stabilization scenarios. From the humble 6 in. rigid base plate, the cornerstone of shoring setups to our multi-strut column base, designed to take incredible loads, we have something to fit your needs. Paratech prides itself on simple, intuitive design, and that carries forward into our structural shoring bases, finding the perfect blend of capability and ease of use.
All of our strut system heads and bases are milled from solid aircraft grade aluminum, never cast, to ensure reliable and uniform strength in every piece, then hard-coat anodized to maximize it’s strength and resistance to the elements.

22-796136 US / 22-796133 Metric
The Channel Base 6×6 is designed specifically for shoring operations. It fits snugly over US 6 X 6 shoring lumber or it’s metric equivalent where it can be anchored with screws or nails. The Channel Base 6×6 has 10 holes large enough to accept a 3” 16 penny nail for securing the base to strongbacks and shoring lumber. Channel Base 6×6 is milled from solid aluminum to ensure a monolithic structure with predictable, superior strength hard coat anodized for protection and longevity. Bases are not cast or welded upon in any way to avoid unpredictable failure points.
22-796134 US / 22-796131 Metric
The Channel Base 4×4 is designed specifically for shoring operations. It fits snugly over US 4 X 4 shoring lumber or it’s metric equivalent where it can be anchored with screws or nails. The Channel Base 4×4 has 8 holes large enough to accept a 3” 16 penny nail for securing the base to strongbacks and shoring lumber. Channel Base 4×4 is milled from solid aluminum to ensure a monolithic structure with predictable, superior strength hard coat anodized for protection and longevity. Bases are not cast or welded upon in any way to avoid unpredictable failure points.

The Hinged Base 12 with Anchor Ring measures 12” x 12” (30,5cm x 30,5cm) and has a textured, aggressive ground contact surface. It includes an anchor ring to attach anchoring straps, ratchet belts or chains and a hinged connector that allows the clevis to move through a 90 degree range of motion to find the best angle for support. It has four holes along each side for securing the base to the ground with rebar or steel pickets, and one hole on each side to secure the hinged base plate to concrete using concrete anchors.
22-796180B
The Swivel Base 12 are milled from solid blocks of aluminum to ensure a monolithic structure with predictable, superior strength hard coat anodized for protection and longevity. Bases are not cast or welded upon in any way to avoid unpredictable failure points. The Swivel Base 12 has a textured, aggressive ground contact surface and 4 holes on each side for securing the base to the ground with rebar or steel pickets, one hole on either side to accept a 3” 16 penny nail for securing the bases to strongbacks and shoring lumber. Additionally, one hole on each side to secure the rigid base plate to concrete using concrete anchors. The strut cup is designed to rotate and swivel up to 20° off vertical in any direction.
22-796092
The Angle Base is milled from solid aluminum to ensure a monolithic structure with predictable, superior strength hard coat anodized for protection and longevity. Bases are not cast or welded upon in any way to avoid unpredictable failure points. Angle Bases have 6 holes large enough to accept a 3” 16 penny nail for securing the bases to strongbacks and shoring lumber. The angle base is useful for when it is not possible to make full contact around the header or sole plate.
22-796180A
The Rigid Base 12 are milled from solid blocks of aluminum to ensure a monolithic structure with predictable, superior strength hard coat anodized for protection and longevity. Bases are not cast or welded upon in any way to avoid unpredictable failure points. The Rigid Base 12 has a textured, aggressive ground contact surface and 4 holes on each side for securing the base to the ground with rebar or steel pickets, one hole on either side to accept a 3” 16 penny nail for securing the bases to strongbacks and shoring lumber. Additionally, one hole on each side to secure the rigid base plate to concrete using concrete anchors.
22-796680
The column base can be used with 3 struts to create a column spot shore. It can be further strengthened by lacing the struts together with bracing.
22-796140
The Hinged Base 6 are milled from solid blocks of aluminum to ensure a monolithic structure with predictable, superior strength hard coat anodized for protection and longevity. Bases are not cast or welded upon in any way to avoid unpredictable failure points. The Swivel Base 6 has a textured, aggressive ground contact surface and 4 holes large enough to accept a 3” 16 penny nail for securing the bases to strongbacks and shoring lumber. The strut cup is designed rotate up to 45° in two directions.
